I have cut four 4" holes in stucco so far, lath and all (for round old-work electrical boxes), and several more in drywall, and the diamond surface looks untouched. I purchased the centering bit listed below so I could use it with my hammer drill instead of an angle grinder (I have not tried it on a grinder yet as I do not have a variable speed grinder). Would be a much better product if it came with the centering bit (although a 1/4-3/8 pilot bit would be better than the half inch especially for drywall). The bit I purchased was too long and I had to cut it short and then it didn't fit into the arbor so I had to drill that out. Avoiding this nonsense with an included bit would be awesome.
