This mat is perfect in entryway and has protected the wood floors from water, leaves, mud, etc. It's nice a heavy so that it doesn't shift around and it's thin enough to fit under the front door. The color is rich and texture is very nice-- looks like it actually belongs in a home. I've gotten quite a few comments on it, already considering getting a few more for other areas of the home.
