DEEP U GULLETS - This unique segment/keyslot design allows for better air cooling and chip deflection resulting in better performance. SPECIFICATIONS - 12" diameter X .125 thick with a 1" Arbor. Also included is a 20mm bushing. Fits most hand-held power saws and walk-behind saws. Heat-treated high-speed steel core is guaranteed to withstand the demands of dry cutting. Expected blade life is approximately 6,000 inch feet (one inch foot = 12" length X 1" depth). The recommended operating speed is 6,300 rpm. Project: put a low voltage cable under asphalt surface. I did a lot of research and YouTube watching and decided to try a hand held rotary (skil type) saw with this 7” diamond blade. As you can see, it worked like a charm. Two parallel (more or less) 1 1/2 inches deep through 16’ old driveway. 20 minutes each cut. I kept a steady pace, keeping an ear on the blade/motor speed. Any slowdown and I’d ease on the pace. Very smooth. No kickback, no hesitation. Most of the dust settled on the roadway at the back of the saw. I blew it away with a blower before taking the photo. The cut looks very clean and there is no gumming up of the blade. The air temp was 70 degrees.
