I had this paddle once before and it feels amazing to play games with it again.1. Was happy to see the price was US$20 cheaper than other sellers. So when ahead to order it. The Paddle pic shown was latest Titan before ordered was placed.2. Waited for 10 working days and finally it arrived. it was an old Titan paddle which actually I doesn't mind becos I tried my partner's old Titan paddle. The Paddle gives good power and control and that is why I decided to purchase one.3. I think the paddle I received is a refurbished or factory reject as the are at least 5 obvious dents on the paddle surface; marks on the paddle edge protection sleeve; last but not least was the top of the diamond grip was sticky. It was as if the paddle grip was not properly redone.4.I have downloaded pics on those 'flaws' that I shared here. However, don't think the seller is Pro -lite and I would like the seller to be considerate as it is not easy for foreigner like me to return the paddle back to USA.5. After using it for 2 weeks, I discovered this paddle provides me a) great control near NVZ like dinking and dropshot volley, b) consistency of my ground strokes has improved by at 10 to 20 percentage, it might because this paddle provides more spin the the Head Paddle I am currently using, c.) 3rd-shot drop from opponent's returns to baseline also improve because generally I am able generate the 'arc' out of the ball so that the ball can just crossed over the Net and drop in the NVZ.To conclude, this purchase might not be the same as our great Amazon shopping experience from the start. However, I have learnt that Amazon and Wolfe do provide great customer experiences on after sales services. All defects from the original shipment were remedied upto customer's satisfaction. In addition, the functionality of the paddle is not compromised. In fact, Titan has improved my skill by another notch without changing my way of playing. It was good to great experience from this purchase. All I can say is " All well, that ends well". Hence, I will upgrade this review from 2 to 4 stars.Nice handle with high quality perforated grip although the joint between the handle and the paddle is rough. The circumference of the handle is larger than average. The surface of paddle is glassy smooth which would make it difficult to put spin on the ball. On the other hand, when hitting an incoming ball that has spin, the spinning ball would not bite on the super smooth surface making it a good defensive paddle against players who like to put spin on the ball. The paddle I received was marked as 7.6 oz which makes the published average of 8.0 oz sound a little exaggerated. I am not sure this paddle is worth $110 compared to the paddle I have been using, which is a Selkirk 300A-XL, a superior paddle itself. I also have a Paddletek Element which I seldom use. It's handle has kind of a bubble at the end which I find unhelpful, at best. The ball jumps off of the Titan. It also jumps off of the Selkirk if it hits in the general area of the sweet spot. Of the three paddles, the Titan is slightly more narrow. It seems to have a broad sweet spot, best of these three paddles. The Titan is a little quieter than my aluminum core Selkirk.Edited: I have taken a second look at this paddle and edited the above comments, and rating. The second paddle I received was marked 7.9 oz. I am again returning the paddle. From my point of view it is definitely not worth $110.Really like the way this paddle handlesIt's tough buying a paddle 'out of the box' without trying it first, but as we had no Pro-lite distributors in our area, I had no choice. My last 2 paddles were Paddletek Bantam EX-L's, both of which had quality issues (but their customer service is excellent), so I was ready for a change. I tried a lot of other paddles but ended up with this on a friend's recommendation. It has a little more power and a little less control than my last paddles, but this is only after about 40 hours of play and I'm still adjusting to it, and this is using the Onix II balls. As far as the claim of reduced noise, it is quieter than my last carbon fiber paddle, but about the equivalent of the Paddletek Bantam. I deducted a star because there is not an option for handle size or racquet weights, which almost every other brand/model offers. I imagine it would be a logistical nightmare offering these options through a mass marketer like Amazon, but if your want to compete with the local club dealers, it needs to be worked out.Having just come from a terrible experience with Engage Pickleball paddles, I was somewhat taking a gamble on this paddle as I had never played with one before, and I didn't know if I was going to have the same or similar issues with Pro-lite. All my worrying was for naught as the Pro-lite Titan Black Diamond has exceeded all of my expectations with what I was looking for in a paddle. First thing I noticed with the Titan is the fact that it has a very light and balanced feel too it. Secondly, everything about it from a build quality standpoint is outstanding. I had experienced nothing but problem, after problem, after problem with the Engage paddles it had tried. And I was not the only one at my local pickleball facility that was experiencing quality issues with Engage paddles. After switching over to the Pro-lite Titan, I have no doubts in my mind they produce a fine product.See above. This is an update to my first review, after playing with the paddle for a few hours. I like it a LOT, although my drop shot & dinks still need work! (not the paddle's fault!) The grip is fantastic!! Very comfy! It's not a flashy paddle (as I received the all-black original model), but folks have said it's interesting looking with the carbon fiber pattern on the face. I believe it's my new favorite. I've only been playing pickleball for a year, and haven't won any national titles with it, like Sarah Ansboury, so I'll just say it's very comfy, & I like the control I have with it. I gave Wolfe Sports a 5 -star rating, because they went above & BEYOND to make sure I'm a very satisfied customer.
