I was looking for bed frames around the $200-$250 range but I was worried about the quality. I found this one at a little over $300 and I am so glad I spent a little extra. The major selling point for me (other than look and style) was that the weight capacity is 800 lbs vs every other frame I looked at maxing at 500 lbs. With 2 rambunctious young children and a big and tall husband, I really needed something solid. This bed is sturdy and the gray linen headboard and walnut wood is much better quality than I expected. It was relatively easy to put together (took my husband about 45 minutes). You do need a box spring with this bed frame, but the headboard is definitely high enough to accomodate a box spring, pillowtop mattress, and pillows without disappearing. The clearance between the bed frame and the floor is pretty small, so I would say underbed storage isn't a possibility but I don't mind that at all. If you are considering this frame, I would definitely recommend. I am very happy with my purchase.
