We start with the best diamond plate there is "3003 grade highly polished" than it's prepped to accept the rubberized coating. We apply by roller 1 thick layer then let it dry for 48 hrs before we wrap them for sale. OUR ROCKERS RUN A FULL 6 INCHES TALL AND TUCK UNDER THE PLASTIC FENDER PIECES, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO REMOVE THEM TO INSTALL THESE ROCKERS. PLEASE NOTE: TO INSTALL YOU CAN USE RTV CAULK, 2 SIDED TAPE, SCREWS OR RIVETS. TUCK ROCKERS UNDER FENDER FLARES ON BOTH ENDS, HOLD OR CLAMP IN PLACE AND INSTALL RIVETS OR SCREWS.

These things are horrible! They don't fit without having to trim them. Why would I want to put the ends of them behind the fender flares and have a gap between the body of the jeep and the flare? I also have to sand the back of them because the coating that's on them is all over the back of them and they don't sit flat against the body of the jeep. I definitely do not recommend getting these. Get some from an actual shop that specializes in making rock guards for your jeep. This was a lessoned learned and money wasted for me
