I never write reviews but it’s important that I do for this blade.I work in the stone industry and have 15 years of experience with diamond blades.I usually buy the hilti brand which lasts me about 800 to 900 feet/blade.Because of my familiarity with Makita and the 66% off special I said sure what the hell.I work in a quarry and always cut the same type a stone. It’s a soft stone called phyllite.I fully expected the Makita blade to last me at least 400 feet. Well it didn’t. 200 feet into this blade and it’s already finished. It lasted 1 week. I have my suspicions that this is a cheap blade that they slapped the Makita name on it. Not a genuine Makita.Very cheap quality. If I could give it a zero I would.
