For the most part these are great. The metal definitely work better than the plastic ones. The problem I have is the metal tool is to big for the tips to go in. The bands should be thicker to give it grip. The resin/ plastic tool works great.I love the rainbow nibs. I've been using metal ones for a year ND they're the best. However my #2 doesn't hold 2 it's not open like my other #2's. The clear pen works and holds the nibs but the solid purple drill pen will not hold any of the nibs they slide right out. I've adjusted the rungs , replaced them. I even used other nibs I own from my other sets and the pen is defective.The end pieces don't really stay in the pen. And the rubber bands break really easy which makes them even more loose. They're very pretty though.They are comfy and easy to use. With the bands on the tips fit in the pen nicely. I however it seems there was a mess up in manufacturing as the tips I got that says it is a #4 is exactly the same size as the #5 and continuously picks up 5 drills.They are cute and love the rose gold but the tips don't Securely fit and moveI was so looking forward to this set. But was very unhappy with the way they didn't fit well, so was very wobbly. Not one placer fit well. Very disappointed.The tips for the dots do not fit tightly. It slides out of the pen stem. I wouldn't recommend this item.Really disappointed in this product. Really pretty, however I was under the assumption that they were metal tips. They are not. They are plastic. Low quality plastic at that. Don't waste your money.So the blue pen I ordered was great but the pink one the tips are loose and even more so when I changed out the rubber seals. Pretty good quality but can't use one of themLove ur pensI love it , it is great to use because I have bad hands so glad I ordered it
