Black Diamond Abrasive Blast Media, Coarse Grade, 10/40 Mesh Size. Black Diamond coal slag offers enhanced speed and cutting for superior cleaning ability. Use Coarse Grade for general purpose repair and maintenance blasting for the removal of paint and rust, structural steel, mill scale and aggregate exposure. High Hardness – Product ranges between 6 and 7 on the Moh’s Scale of Mineral Hardness, and is characterized by low friability and low dusting, especially important on jobsites in congested areas or where emission containment is specified.
Angular Particle Shape - Provides for excellent abrasive qualities; high productivity, surface cleanliness, and surface profile.
10/40 Mesh - Coarse Grade produces a heavy profile, from commercial to near white finish. Often used for very heavy duty applications such as railcar facilities and shipyards.
