Waterhog eco premier mats combine all of the performance of the original Waterhog with a unique diamond face pattern creating the ultimate visual appearance. Waterhog eco premier mats feature a 100 percent post consumer recycled pet face that is reclaimed from plastic bottles. Every 3x5 diverts approximately 60 plastic bottles from landfills. A multi-denier fiber construction combines thick fibers for scraping with fine fibers for wiping, providing better performance and longer life. The backings of Waterhog eco premier mats is made of 100 percent rubber with 15 percent to 20 percent recycled rubber content. Face nubs are reinforced with rubber to resist crushing, maintaining high performance and extending product life. Border is designed to hold water and dirt on mat to minimize slip hazards and floor damage around perimeter of the mat. Removes and traps dirt and moisture and holds it on mat below shoe level so it is not tracked in. Gripping action minimizes movement on most carpets and improves traction on hard surfaces. We just spent over $20,000 repainting and redecorating our clubhouse. None of our residents noticed that the awful worn out welcome mat at the front door was betraying all the excellent work done. We have a management company that should be taking care of stuff like that but, like most, they don't unless you ask. I decided that this was something we could take on ourselves. It was important to me to buy a commercial grade mat. I researched all the various options and was continually drawn back to the Wart Hog Eco. Our Board approved the purchase and I ordered the mat. I was more impressed when I received it than I thought I would be. It is attractive and has grippers on the bottom that make it stay put (the old mat was slick on the bottom making it slide all over and a tripping hazard). The Wart Hog Eco mat is so good that I got approval to order another matching one to go on the inside of the door. In summary, the Wart Hog Eco mat was a terrific buy for a quality item. It looks surprisingly elegant laying on the hardwood floor.One Year Follow-up: Its been a year since I bought these mats for our clubhouse and they still look like new.
